ABOUT ME

Hi! I’m Karel Venegas-Cabrera, a multidisciplinary designer with expertise in Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Photography, and UX Design.

I identify as "Panamexican"—half Panamanian and half Mexican— born and raised in southeastern Michigan, USA. My diverse heritage has profoundly influenced both my personal identity and professional journey, shaping my design sensibilities with a deep commitment to authenticity. I am passionate about expressing Color, Culture, Honesty, and Individuality through my work.

I hold both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Architecture, and during my graduate studies, I had the opportunity to explore courses in Interior Design, Graphic Design, and UX Design. This interdisciplinary approach has made me a more versatile designer, allowing me to draw inspiration from the cultural, societal, and architectural elements I encounter in the places I visit.

While I recognize that there is always more to learn, I take pride in being a quick learner, open-minded, and a designer of many trades.
